The Library catalogue

The Library maintains a traditional card catalogue, as well as an online catalogue.

  • The traditional card catalogue is available on the ground floor and on the first floor for reference books.
  • The UY Library online catalogue can be consulted from the computers located in the circulations desks, as well as remotely via the University of Yangon website. The catalogue lists books and theses available for borrowing from the Library.

Other open access resources are also available through the following access points.

Open-access (OA) literature is digital, online, free of charge including for those who do not have personal or institutional subscriptions to journals, and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions. What makes it possible is the internet and the consent of the author or copyright-holder.
