Dr Zin Mar Kyaw Kyaw is a Professor of the Department of International Relations and Political Science, University of Yangon. She received her BA (IR) (Honours) in (1996), MA (IR) in (2000) and Ph.D (IR) in (2007) degrees from University of Yangon. Her teaching profession started at University of Yangon as a Tutor in 1998. She worked previously at East Yangon University (2001-2005), Mandalay University (2005-2006), East Yangon University (2006-2021), and Mandalay University of Foreign Languages (2021-2024). In 2024, she was assigned as a Professor at the Department of International Relations and Political Science, University of Yangon. She teaches diverse courses including IR theories. Her research field includes foreign relations of Myanmar. Her Ph.D dissertation focuses on “Relations between Myanmar and the Republic of Korea (1975-2004)”.
