Daw Aye Chan Khin is an assistant lecture of English Department, University of Yangon. She got a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts (Honours) from University of Yangon, Myanmar in 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in English from University of Yangon, Myanmar. She became the tutor of English Department, University of Yangon in September 2017. She completed the Upskilling Programme for Freshly Appointed Tutors of English (UPFATE 1/2018) offered by Department of English, University of Yangon and the Capacity Building and Training of Trainer on Pedagogy conducted in University of Yangon in 2019. She also completed the Online Professional English Network’s (OPEN) Fall 2020 TESOL Methodology massive open online course (MOOC), facilitated by University of Maryland, Baltimore County and Teaching English as a Second Language – Curriculum Planning and Pedagogy (Train-the-Trainer) offered by Regional English Language Center (RELC), Singapore in 2021. Currently, she is attending the preliminary course for Ph.D candidates at English Department, University of Yangon. During her four-year-experience, she has taught the English foundation courses to 1st year and 2nd year (Non-English specialization) students, the Basic Level students from Global English Course and the ‘Communicative Skills’ subject to 4th year English for Professional Purposes (EPP) students from National Management Degree College (NMDC). Her interest lies in Applied Linguistics, Literature and TESOL and doing researches in these fields.
