Ye Min Htay studied the subject of International Relations (IR) at the University of East Yangon. In the second year of his Honours course, he had to do a Term Paper with the title of “US Foreign Policy Under George.W. Bush’s Administration.” He passed the second year (Honours) with Second Class, Division I. He continued to study the subject of International Relations for his 2 years Masters degree from Dagon University which he completed in 2008. He became a Tutor in the Department of International Relations, Yadanabon University, Mandalay in 2012. He worked in departmental research on “The Strategic Role of Myanmar in a Regional Context.” He was then transferred to the University of Yangon. Later, he was promoted from tutor to assistant lecturer. The courses he has taught are Introduction to International Relations and Political Institutions. His specialization is US Foreign Policy.
