Dr.Swe Swe Tun is an Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations of Yangon University. She obtained her B.A(Hons), M.A and PhD degrees in International Relations from the University of Mandalay and Post-grad Diploma in Development Studies(2006) from the University of Yadanarbon. Her teaching career began at Myitkyinar University in 1998 and then transferred to the University of Yadanarbon in 2000, promoted as an assistant lecturer in 2006. In 2011, she was a lecturer at the Department of International Relations of Mandalay University. She was transferred to the University of Monywa in 2017 as a lecturer. She was promoted as an Associate Professor in 2019 at Yangon University. Currently, she teaches Comparative Constitutions and American Politics to students of Political Science. Her publications are ” Endeavors for Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation in Myanmar (2011-2015)”, Universities Research Journal, Vol.9, No.4, 2017; and “The importance of agriculture sector for rural development and poverty alleviation in Myanmar since 1988”, Monywa University Research Journal, Vol.11, No.1,2020.
