Dr. Marlar Aung is an Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Political Science at the University of Yangon. She got the PhD degree in 2012 with the title of “Community Development in Remote Areas of Myanmar since 1990”. She joined the Department of International Relations, University of Yangon as a Tutor in 2005. Her specialization is peace and security. The subjects she has been teaching are environment and politics, diplomacy, East Asia and South Asia.
