Hla Myo Than is an Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations at the University of Yangon. He obtained B.A degree from Dagon University in 2003, M.A degree from Monwya University in 2006, and PhD degree in International Relations from the University of Yangon in 2017. He was first appointed as a tutor at Monwya University in 2005, and transferred to the Department of International Relations, University of Yangon in 2008. Currently, he teaches Government and Politics of Myanmar to students of Political Science and International Relations. He also teaches Myanmar Foreign Relations since 1948 to students from the Yangon University of Distance Education. His research interests focus on conflict management and conflict resolutions.
