Daw Nu Mya Wai is a Lecturer as well as a prelim student at English Department, University of Yangon. She holds B.A (Hons) in English from Sittway University and Master’s Degree in English from University of Yangon, Myanmar. She was appointed as a tutor at Yangon University of Foreign Languages in 2012. She worked there from 2012 to 2016 and she was a teacher who taught CHRD course. Then, she was promoted to an Assistant Lecturer in 2016 and a Lecturer in 2020. She joined Upskilling Programme for Freshly Appointed Tutors of English course at Marlar Hall in 2012, the Cascading Workshop on Temasek Foundation at National Centre for English Language in 2013 and Teaching English as a second language _ Curriculum Planning and Pedagogy course conducted by SEAMEO RELC. Moreover, she not only taught Foundation English but also supervised term papers of undergraduate students. Besides, she was a language teacher at Global English Course and one of the trainers of English Language Course for Higher Education Teachers. Currently, she is teaching literature to English specialization students from University of Yangon. Her interests lie in English language teaching and literature. She loves sharing her knowledge and experience with students as well as colleagues.
