Daw Lwin Lwin Aung

Daw Lwin Lwin Aung is a lecturer and also a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Anthropology, University of Yangon. She has published multiple papers on ethnographic research including studies on the traditional festival of Ponna, socio-economic life of Bamar nationals, annual twelve months festival in Mandalay, Sagaing, and Innwa. Currently she is studying ‘Survival Strategies of Migrant Workers in Industrial Zone 1, Mandalay’. As departmental research, she and her colleagues are researching “Indigenous Knowledge on Healthcare Practices of Yin Baw ethnic, Kayah State in Myanmar in 2017-18”.
